LureSecure Lure Wraps are made right here in the good ol’ USA from only the finest, planet friendly materials. We chose to manufactureLureSecures from PE (polyethylene) based materials, rather than PVC materials, which emit toxic compounds and have numerous negative effects on the environment and living organisms. Although PVC is less expensive, we chose NOT to use materials and manufacturing processes that could harm our fishing environment in the construction of LureSecures.
We brought together advanced materials and manufacturing techniques previously used for medical and military applications, to create LureSecure Lure Wraps. The primary material used in their construction originates from today’s high-tech medical industry, where it’s used for items such as IV bladders, inflatable immobilizing and compression devices (think temporary casts) and therapy packs. It’s very flexible and resistant to punctures, and comes in various densities, numerous colors and clarities from crystal clear to “orange peel”. We use the thicker, orange peel variety without color so our Pros can pre-rig with confidence – they know what lure they’re using, but their competition won’t. This material also blocks UV rays, so lures retain their color or glow capability when stored within a LureSecure.
As fellow fishermen, we know you don’t always fish in freshwater, and every now and then you put your gear away damp, if not wet. We’ve included unique military technology in LureSecure Lure Wraps for this very reason. Running down the center of every LureSecure is a strip of Inhibitor corrosion protection material. This premium “NANO-VCI” technology has been field tested in the harshest conditions. By usingLureSecures to secure or store your lures and gear, hooks and other ferrous metals are protected from rust and corrosion.
Even the construction and design of LureSecure Lure Wraps is aimed at maximizing the benefits they provide. LureSecures are constructed using a revolutionary new technology – Radio Frequency heat sealing. Unlike other lure wraps, LureSecures are literally welded together – no glues, no stitching and no mechanical devices. We also use extra wide industrial grade hook & loop closures for added security.
